Clean lines, seamlessly compiments the iMac design and materials. The width is perfect if you would like to stow your wireless keyboard. In my case, I have put a WD My Book 2TB under the stand. I can almost fit two MBooks, except for the USB hub on the right-hand side. The USB connection for the hub, along with the power supply connection are situated to the left which costs you a couple inches of storage which is a shame. I'd love to have an option for the Stand By Mi without the USB hub. I'm trying to clean up my workspace and having a hub sticking is the last thing I wanted but its presence wasn't a dealbreaker obviously. Every other monitor riser I looked at is some plastic piece of crap that doesn't do justice to the beautiful Apple display. Having said that, this stand is indeed a cheap (though not inexpensive) knockoff of the Apple design. It's basically a painted piece of industrial grade metal that is trying to look like the gorgeous material out of which the Apple display stand is made.
